What are les roues de l'écureuil ?

Born in 2014 in Annecy, Les roues de l’écureuil are specialized in the assembly of custom-made bicycle wheels. Based on the observation that a « system » wheelset which had to suit a wide range of users may not be optimal, we decided to start the assembly of our own wheels. 

From the component’s choice to the careful manual assembly, we help you in the realization of your wheelset optimized for you, your bike, and your practice.

We can also offer our bestsellers for the most common practices to improve the behavior of your bike. These wheels will receive an aesthetic customization to suit you to the best, while maintaining the same requirements for quality of assembly.

Assembly techniques

All our wheels are entirely made by hand, you will not find any electric screwdriver in our workshop. The tension of each spoke is carefully controlled and homogenized to obtain a long term result. The truing, as well as other important parameters, are precisely adjusted in order to obtain a perfect and reliable result.

Routine maintenance

We are able to manage the control of your current wheels, as well as to carry out their routine maintenance. From simple truing to changing bearings and replacing spokes, contact us to find out more.
